Catlins Club | Sea Lions + Te Reo Māori
We’ve got a special visitor joining Catlins Club at the Ōwaka Community Library on Wednesday 16 September!
Lance Hay from the Department of Conservation (DOC) will be coming along to talk with the kids about New Zealand sea lions and other local marine wildlife, including teaching some of their te reo Māori names.
The kids will also get the chance to see our full-size taxidermy female sea lion and grab a group photo.
A great afternoon of local wildlife, learning and te reo Māori.
